CCF

Anisoprint CCF is a composite reinforcing fibre in the form of a tow made of thousands of ultrathin carbon monofilaments, impregnated with a special polymer composition ensuring high-quality impregnation and adhesion between the polymers and the fibre. Composite fibre is used to reinforce the plastic during fabrication of the part.

Additive manufacturing of composite parts reinforced with continuous fibers is based on dual-matrix composite co-extrusion technology (Composite Filament Co-extrusion, CFC) and allows manufacturing of strong, lightweight and complex-shaped parts with tailored material properties. The reinforcement is Anisoprint carbon composite fiber (CCF) containing thousands of thin carbon filaments bonded together with a special polymer binder.

  • 20 times stiffer and stronger than normal plastic
  • Strength-to-weight ratio is more than 5 times higher than for 2024-T351 Aluminum
  • Stiffness-to-weight ratio is more than 5 times higher than for 2024-T351 Aluminum
  • 7 times lighter then steel and strong as stainless steel

A 1km spool will be enough to fabricate a fully composite 62х62х62mm cube or a fully composite A4-sized plate with a thickness of 3.85mm. The volume ratio of carbon fibre in final product is up to 25%.
